What’s New At Webel Web 2.0 HQ?

By Clive | November 15, 2007

New site added:
If you are following the daily web 2.0 TO DO lists then you won’t have got to the final Day #15 yet.

Now, when you do, as well as being a day of tidying up your campaign, commenting on other KWP (keyword phrase) related blogs, sites and news posts I’ve just added Swicki.com

Swicki is a custom search portal that you build yourself. Takes 5 minutes! The reason why it’s so good for the final day of your campaign is that you can copy and paste all those web 2.0 urls you have so lovingly created over the last 2 weeks (it takes up to 50 - urls that is,not weeks!). Make sure you name your portal with your KWP.

Once you’ve done it go and look at the finished result, get the RSS feed (What! You aren’t using Firefox?) and ping it to kingdom come!

How successful will that be, like all these sites time and testing will tell. This is why your comments are so important - I’ll lose the poor performers and give newbie sites a chance :-) to be part of our program. The thing is that the Webel Way is as cutting edge as it gets, there are no precedents to compare to. Pioneers that’s what we are!

Facebook Group launched:

As an additional way of comparing notes and news I’ve created a Webel Group on Facebook. Go and sign up forthwith!

New Bookmarking Site:

I’ve been playing around with Pligg.com recently and just finished creating my first Digg type site: www.Kwakit.com

If you’ve a spare moment sign up and drag the Bookmarklet from your User Profile to your Toolbar (What! You aren’t using Firefox?) and bookmark your blog posts as often as you like.

Can you tell I’m getting better at using PhotoShop?

See you on pages #1,#2 & #3
